Please help me regarding slow response time from mysql or multiple connection establish during online test in LAN maximum 1000 student connect with lan to wamp sever but its response time is very slow or connection is fail

Maximum number of simultaneous connections:

Windows XP (All versions)
-> 5
Windows 7 (All versions)
-> 20
All versions of Windows Server (NT4, 2k, 2K3, 2K8)
-> unlimited

One can also find this value by using the command line:

NET CONFIG SERVER

This number is displayed next to the heading
"Max. de sessions ouvertes" (In French)
Maybe "Max. open sessions" (In English)

This limitation applies only to incoming connections.

Furthermore, a connection is established for 15 minutes (default).
If the remote machine is no longer used after this period, there is automatically disconnected, which then decreases the number of active connections on the local machine (and increments the number of possible additional connections on this machine).

Changing your name and IP address does not make the answer any different.

You will have to install WAMPServer on a Windows SERVER Operating System and NOT A DESKTOP OS.

Hello sir,
Thanx for given the response, see this step for configure the wamp server for online test(which include all factor of wamp server i.e php, appache, mysql) with 1500 connection simultaneously. Because in this exam i m maintaing the state of each student (including time,quetion switching,etc) within mysql database(php my admin).For maintaing this state each student connect with the database in every 1 min with 1500 connection simultaneously.

Step1: install window server operating system on my system.
Step2: then install the wamp server on it.
Step3: then set ip address of server in http.cofg file.i.e 192.168.25.11.
Step4: then wamp server put online mode.
Step5. And final stage to access the online test to any machin by typing the above define ip address.

I hope this step may be perfect, if not then i requesting u to ellabrate them.
