WampServer

Hi guys and thanks in advance for all the help. Here's the facts:

I have a fair amount of experience with databases generally but new to WAMPSERVER.
I need to keep to xp service pack 2.
I successfuly installed wampserver 2.4 on my last machine xp sp2 (ide, floppy, 3 pcis etc).
Everything worked.
But then the machine died.
I moved to another similar machine (ide, floppy, 3 pci slots).
I installed (at least I thought I did) xp sp2 same as always.
I installed WindowsXP-KB942288-v3-x86 and vcredist_x86.
I tried to install Wampserver2.4-x86, but I got an error saying
MSVCR100.DLL was not found.
and of course the loader does not work.

Thoughts?

No problem.

You just need to install some MSVC runtimes that do not come with XP as it was delivered years before MS upgraded its Compilers.
