What is the best hardware requirement for WAMP Server to

1. 500 clients access at a time
2. 1000 clients access at a time
3. more than 1500 clients access at a time

Hi,

The least we can do when arriving at someone, is to say hello.

WampServer is absolutely not designed for a production server.
This is a local server for development and the development of web application.
For what you are thinking, it seems far better to use a Linux server.
As for the necessary equipment, it is not the scope of this forum. The purpose of this forum is to help you run Wampserver, locally, as a development server.

Like Otomatic said, but also it would have to be a Server and not a desktop as, for obvious reasons, a windows desktop is not configured to support anywhere near even the 500 simultaneous incoming connections.

This is something that most people miss completely when trying to use any webserver run on a desktop.

Is it possible to conduct online examination for 500 students at a time using wamp server

WAMPServer is not the limiting factor here, WampServer installs APACHE and MYSQL and PHP.
With those tools the answer is YES.

However, if you run it on a desktop the answer is probably NO, as a desktop Windows OS is not capable of allowing that many symltaneous connections.
