WampServer

I get an error when I try to load wamp server;

The configuration fiel contains a syntax error on line 0; [EParseError] No tray icon was specified. Please assign a tray icon by using on the of the Trayicon directoives in the [Config] section.

I don't have trayicon.exe on my system. and no mention of it in any config file.

What am I supposed to do. It wont' load wamp server.

I can't find anything with AEstan, trayicon or in any config file.

I am running win 8.1 professional
apache2.4.9
mysql5.6.17
php5.5.12
wamp server 2.5

I came of this error this is how u resolve
Check your wampmanager.ini file it would be probably empty or corrupt (Classic Windows Errors).
Here what you have to do:

Rename the old wamp folder.

Install WAMP again, using the same version of wamp Apache,MySQL.

Copy your database's from old location to new location + any website code. or copy wampmanager.ini from new position.

That should get you back to where you were roughly.

There is a tool : wampmanager.ini repair
Repair tool for wampmanager.ini file if it is corrupted or missing. You can download at any time, but install this tool only if you need it, because it takes into account the current configuration of Wampserver. Also works with Wampserver 2.5. A wampmamanger.ini corrupted file is reflected mostly by errors like "[EparseError]" when launching Wampserver.

This tool is in Tools section of [wampserver.aviatechno.net]
