I'm getting page not found

I have down the following
- started WAMP ( i seem to start correct
- gone to [localhost]
- i;ve added the following to my host file. It doesn't work with or without it

127.0.0.1 localhost

- I'm on WIN 7 64bit.

- I've looked at the task manager for anything that looks like it could be blocking wamp. I do not skype or anything obvoius like that.
- is there a tool i can use to see what could be blocking wamp. Any tips much appreciated

oh ok.. then all you can do is change the port of wamp or iis

in wamp > left click wamp icon> apache > httpd.conf

change

Listen 80

to

Listen 81

save and restart wamp

but now ul need to use

http: //localhost:81 at all times

oh thank steven.

i'll do that next time.

I just turn off IIS. Then on google someone mentioned the MSSQL services running can affect this. So i turned off all MSSQL service and it worked

If you have similar issue on wamp go

Wamp / Apache / Services / Test Port. Great feature.

anyway, great new version of WAMP.
