hi, i'm very new to all this sort of stuff so forgive me if i'm asking a dumb question.

i've installed wamp and have installed wordpress on it. I'm using wordpress to try and build a site, but what i need to know is how can i give access to my wordpress blog ? i need to be able to give a link to my wordpress blog to someone i know online so they can see what changes i've been making to the blog. How can i do this ? would it be something like getting a domain and adding it to wordpress or wamp ?

Like i said i'm very new to all of this so i'm quite lost as to what to do.

any help is much apprieciated.

thanks toumimi but bludhound needs a little more than just the guide to setup wordpress

1. follow vh guide to setup local domain, ie. 'http://wordpress'
2. follow to the end of vh guide to setup all host files in all pc that need to access your wordpress
3. don't use 'http://localhost' but use 'http://wordpress' to setup wordpress
4. then your friends just type in 'http://wordpress' in browser to see your wordpress
