I recently upgraded to windows 7 64 bit with a new machine.
My previous works (on 32 bit) now have problems with PHP gzencode() function.
Browsers can not decode them and display like this:

‹ãââP]ìè

Is this because of 64 bit ??? If so, is there a solution?

I use wamp5

[SOLVED]

Nothing to do with 64 bit. It was because of a stupid mistake. Wamp works like a charm on windows7 64 bit too.

Installed WAMP on my 64bit Windows 7 system. Clicking on c:\wamp\wampmanager.exe results in nothing.

Clicking on c:\wamp\wampmanager.exe results in nothing

It should have added wamp icon in your system tray (bottom-right of your screen).
Make sure all icons are visible.
