you cant. and whywouldu want....
just run one server. and use vhosts

if you havedifferent pcs... then u will need different ips or a router that canread the packets and sort them according to url

ok i have like 8 sites on 3 severs one server has 4 one has 2 and the other has 2.
because the one with the 4 could take the load of a video community a social network , dating site and a gaming community . and the other two has some forums and joomla

ok well you still cant do it...

unless u use different ports as you sed

if the sites are so busy then u shud be paying for hosting, the speed difference is worth the 50-100dollar a yearhosting cost

no...

vhosts doesnt allow u to redirect.... and even if you use redirectoin,.. your still putting load on the first server handling all the data

sorry, didn't read your question clear enough and the answer is yes and there are too many ways to do it such as balance, proxy, heartbeat, so on, so it depends how you want and what to do to get it
I'm using heartbeat w/ 3 pc and 2 nas drives so first pc die/crash, second pc immediately kick in, second die/crash, third one in, so on and since all data are on 2 nas, no matter which pc is running, it still fulfill any request and of course have to implement download resume support
anyway, it's IT server and not support on this forums so you should join some other forums for more help/discussions winking smiley
