WampServer

Hi.
I am having what seems to be a common .htaccess problem but I cannot fix it even after googling and trying numerous fixes.
I downloaded my live site to use and test on localhost using WAMP.

Error message:- [Wed Jan 06 14:56:01 2010] [alert] [client 127.0.0.1] C:/wamp/www/test/.htaccess: Invalid command 'mod_rewrite', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration, referer: [localhost]

Apache Module rewrite_module is enabled
httpd.conf LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so is enabled

I am using:-
WAMP 2.0i, Apache 2.2.11, PHP 5.3, vista o/s, joomla 1.5.15
downloaded and written to WAMP using joomlapack & kickstart 2.4

Can anyone assist me please.

you have to enable mod rewrite through wamp tray icon
