WampServer

I have XP Pro, no IIS installed and everytime I freshly install wampserver2.0i.exe I get this message on the phpmyadmin page: The additional features for working with linked tables have been deactivated. To find out why click here.

At this point I cannot install joomla because I cannot connect to a mysql database. Wampserver2.01.exe just does not work, but the wamp install from Bitnami works fine. I would like to find out what the problem is with wampserver2.0i.exe though. It irritates me.

The click here page is just a bunch of configuration parameters that are not OK.

you need to probably change the mysql engine
