Can't run Wampserver asks for password and user name

Hello ... I have downloaded Wampserver2-APACHE2213 into my system (Vista) but it will not run, it starts to load then asks for a User name and password. It is stating I need to enter credentials for a user that can access this resorce? What do I gave to do to make this soft ware work .. ??? {lease help Mr. Wizard. Thanks Dave

could you be more specific about the problem?

and have you tried to enter you mysql password?

So, you have two problems !

First, you need to download wampserver2.0i.exe before trying to install the addon.

Then, wamp does not need any password, so you probably have IIS (webserver packaged in windows) installed.
So you won't be able to use wamp unless you uninstall this application...

Thank all for your responces ... it worked and is now loaded and I have an icon in my tray, I have now have Wampserver on line but when I right click on it and go to phpmyadmin short cut it opens and loads to a blank screan with nothing on it just saying "DONE" ??

So I am not able to start creating my data bace....

Could some one help me with this challenge now please, what am I doing wrong.

left click for Main menu, right click for Secondary menu and double click for Author credit

open file hosts in folder C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc and make sure you have only this line and nothing else

127.0.0.1 localhost
