How do i enable APC in WAMP 2.0 with PHP v 5.2.9-2

I tried to install APC but without success, i' ve read several threads around and it seems there is a conflict with Zend optimiser. Does anyone know to provide an explanation or a solution? Thanks in advance!

APC and Zend Optimiser are not compatible, as far as I know. They perform similar tasks, so you generally would not want both enabled at the same time. It is one or the other.

IonCube loader has nothing to do with Zend Optimizer being incompatible with APC. What IonCube Loader does is completely different from APC. Not sure why you're recommending this here.

just as you said, apc and optimizer might not compatible so pick 1 only; however, not everyone know how to setup optimizer properly, thus there is the guide to follow or check if missing any step winking smiley
