phpMyAdmin dead slow

I have been putting up with this since installing WAMP 2.0 however the impact on my productivity is significant.

Can anybody assist in getting phpMyAdmin functioning at a reasonable speed? My previous version of WAMP it was not a problem.

How many databases do you have in phpMyAdmin, ive noticed if you have a certain amount it slows down response and load times
