Got an intranet server that I wish to migrate over to a virtual machine. Tried a few different ways and can't get the website to work. Is there a special way to migrate to another machine. I tried installing latest Wamp then copying over the whole wamp folder from old server with no luck.

You need to do the following actions :
- Copy your www folder to the new one.
- Export your database with PhpMyAdmin and then import the script file on the other place
- Check your server parameters using phpinfo on the two servers
