WAMP 2.0i won't start

I have Windows XP SP3 and I just downloaded WAMP 2.0i, executed the installation but it won't Start. I see a tray icon saying 'WAMPSERVER server offline' and attempts to start it fail.

I saw some posts suggesting anti-virus programs (mine is McAfee) may cause a problem so I uninstalled that but WAMP 2 still will not start. Please tell me what to try.

it may be working fine

off line means its not setup to conenct to internet


open brower and goto ht tp://localhost/
