WampServer

My www folder is my W drive, so once WAMP is installed I have to do a search and replace for all c:/wamp/www/ entries in all the configuration files.

Any way you could just add this as an option in the install?

I think it works if you only change path in scripts/config.inc.php to 'w:/my_projects' for example

$wwwDir = $c_installDir.'/www';

Yeah, already done that. It would be nice if there was an option during installation though. My www root is my W: drive, so it would be nice if I could browse for it during install and the correct files (including) httpd.conf were updated

Why not..

[ I forgot DocumentRoot and Directory from httpd.conf ]

Note that it is not intersting for beginners which only want to start developing using a working pack,
but you're right it might be useful
