WampServer

I have installed wampserver on an old laptop and it is working fine. I am trying to use it on a newer computer, vista 32-bit, but I can't get online. When i click on phpMyAdmin I get this message: HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found. When I code a php page in Notepad and save it to the wamp www folder, I cannot open it using [localhost]...
It works on the other computer. Any Ideas?
By the way, I am a student taking php as an independent study.

Try to put it into a subfolder of www (ex: test)
A link will be available on wamp homepage.

Check that Apache is working (from Apache->Service submenu).
If okay and phpMyAdmin is not working, check its path in alias/phpmyadmin.conf file

If you can't start Apache, check its error log file.

Note : You don't have to put wamp online to use it locally.
