Hello,
I tried fixing the problem with the other posts but i couldn't.
My wamp server was ok until I shuted down my laptop for my break hour and when i came back it was yellow.
I can run php code in my localhost but i cannot connect to the database. I go to menu->mysql->service and i click Start/resume but nothing happens.

Please, can anybody help me? i there a way to backup my database just in case?
Thanks,
Pamela.

When i go to "Test port 80" i get: Server: Apache/2.2.11 (win 32) PHP/5.3.0

My Msql log is:

You can see at 13 was working fine, and at 17 couldn't start.

im pretty new to this myself but you can check my thread grinning smiley
hope it helps

its still on the first page, its called "Tray Icon Issues"
heres the link but im not sure if it will work [forum.wampserver.com]

but do you have anything like Skype running because Skype uses the same port Apache needs. So try disabling(turning off) Skype.

for MySQL you might have a program using the its port , maybe its a MySQL standalone, or something.

Thanks Dorian,
I googled the error and found a french Ubuntu forum wih a post from 2007 that solved the problem!

I just shutted down WAMP, deleted everthing in the file:

c:/wamp/bin/mysql/mysql5.1.36/data/mysql-bin.index

And runned WAMP again and voila!
