Error (for no apparent reason)

I installed WampServer today for the first time with no problems. However after watching a few video tutorials, I thought I'd have a look at phpMyAdmin (not doing anything, just navigating through the various screens, and then I got this...

Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly.

I've stopped and restarted all services, exited WampServer logged on and off and still the same. I looked in the error logs and got this:
