WampServer

I have installed the wamp 2 with default settings. The circle is white but it says "server offline". When i click on "start all services" nothing happends and [localhost] cannot be found.

What am i doing wrong?

If wamp icon is white, then all service are already started. Wamp is offline because it's only available from localhost (security). If you put it online (from wamp menu), then all users (from lan and wan) would be able to see your website and your localhost home page..
So you don't need to put wamp online to use apache and php...

Type http://localhost/ to get wamp homepage.
If you can't get it, please report us. If you can , then just start to develop your projects :
- create a new folder
- create a file index.php in it and let's go

Typing [localhost] in my browser doesn't work. I don't get it. It used it work just fine. All i did was do "next" in the installation so everything is default.

Try to restart services or uninstall/reinstall each service from wamp menu..
What do you have in your apache error log (from wamp menu -> Apache ) ?
