PHP error log is not being written to

Hello, I have noticed that all of my PHP errors are being logged to the apache error log instead of the PHP error log. The apache error log has gotten pretty big as you can imagine.

I tried changing where PHP logs errors my editing the php.ini file, but apache crashes when I tried to set the error_log value in the php.ini file.

I am on vista 64 bit home premium.

was disabled in new wamp as its a bug in php 5.3 and causes issues with phpinfo

Maybe you have to put the path into quotes..
