WampServer

Hi,

I've tryed the tutorial from this page:

(http://wordpress.tv/2009/01/26/installing-wordpress-locally-with-wampserver/) and

it worked perfectly on my laptop.


I was wondering, has anyone tryed installing wamp on a server? Is it even possible to install wamp on a server and not just on your local C: drive.

If my question seems confusing, to make things more clearer, I'm trying to implement wordpress internally within a company's intranet.

Just checked that link and...
First, you should not use user "root" for everything but should only use this super admin user to manage and control your mysql
Second, to run it w/i lan, setup virtual hosts

to setup wordpress, follow this
[blog.jlbn.net]

to setup access, follow this
[blog.jlbn.net]

to setup vh, follow this
[blog.jlbn.net]
