Seems this is related to PHP and error reporting (E_ALL | E_STRICT) or possibility Pear.

I installed same Jaws last night with a 2.0h installation and was complete and functional in one minute!

Installing a test site using Jaws (http://www.jaws-project.com/). Installer screens have many repeated errors like:

Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\jaws\libraries\pear\MDB2.php on line 2647 (as many as 20 per page with this error)

Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\jaws\libraries\pear\XML\Parser.php on line 420

Deprecated: Function set_magic_quotes_runtime() is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\jaws\include\Jaws\Request.php on line 40

Should I go back to 2.0h for now?

PHP5.3 has removed old functions/settings. As your script uses these you will receive the warnings displayed.

I recommend you to drop back to PHP5.2.9
