strange happenings..sites are larger on wamp than online

Hi all,

Got a bit of a weird problem. Sites that I view on localhost are slightly larger than online. If you open up the local site in one tab, and the live site in another, while both are exactly the same, the localhost site grows by about pixels..meaning that when building sites, they dont always line up exactly, images are slightly pixelated etc..

This only happens in Firefox. It doesnt appear to do this in any other browser. I have ran Firefox in safe mode with all addons and stuff disabled, and it still does it.

Running on windoze xp, latest version of Firefox, and wampserver 2.0.
Also does the same on my laptop, running Windozes 7, latest Firefox and wampserver 2.0

Has anyone else found this?

best guess is most live host are running on *nix which might produce different output, but you might want to check your css settings
