WampServer

Ok i installed the wamp server and everything went ok there but once the installation was finished i went down to the task bar and right click on the icon and click put online and the error that i m getting is " Could not execute menu item (internal error) [Exception] Could not perform service action: The service has not been started. Can someone help me i m stuck here and i m not sure what to do next. Thanks.

Hi,

You must at least start apache service before putting wamp online, and it's always better that you also start mysql service (I think you'll use it). So, when it's done, your wamp icon should be white.

However, you are not forced to put it online to site your site on your pc.
"Put online" allows everybody to see your projects, if they got your address and if port in not blocked by a firewall or a router...
