WampServer

xp w iis - other test sites working

just installed WampServer 2

put it here:
c:\wamp

- all started ok in the lower right tray but...

WITH IIS...

- when I try localhost it wants a user and pass *even without WampServer 2* but sites inside will work ok without like

[localhost] = works but:
[localhost] = NO - says virt dir does not allow contents to be listed

Q: So i think it's confused - trying to use IIS rather than c:\wamp ????

also How would I find localhost USER and PASS?

I can't get anything to open to set anything up - what do I do?

u cant really have both. unless u switch one to another port

thanks stevenmartin99 - how would I switch WampServer 2 to other ports? ... I'd like to leave IIS where it is for now.

OPEN c:/wamp/bin/apache/apache2.2.11/conf

and open httpd.conf

change

Listen 80

to

Listen 81




or Listen 8080
