Wamp works on PC desktop -- not on PC laptop

Hello, I have a PC with a working Wamp server.

I decided to put one on my laptop, and I got all services started; however, when I open the phpadmin page it is just blank. I have Norton on "both" computers and it has never interfered with Wamp on my desktop, but even so I turned off the firewall, but that didn't make a difference.

Any suggestions as to why I just bring up blank pages.

On my desktop, I can open the phpadmin page with no problem.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I'm on Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 on a Sony Vaio. 1.00 GHz 2.00 GB of RAM I am using Firefox browser.

PJ

Thank you for the tip. Any clue how to shut iis off?
And I did make the exception in firewall to run wamp.

Thanks again.

I'm looking under services in control panel, but see nothing listed as IIS service.

Maybe it can be disabled from Startup? But that doesn't seem to be listed under Services either.

Must be in the wrong place.

Do you know where the IIS is located on Windows XP Professional? I googled it, but only came up with "disable IIS Services 4.0, or turn off ASP session in IIS 4.0, 5.0 etc.

I found another thread that seems to be along the lines of what I'm trying to accomplish, so I'll follow that one. I was able to find the IIS by reading the other thread.
