Access Denied for PhpMyAdmin

Hello,

WAMP was working fine all along on my Laptop but today I could not get to PHPMyAdmin. It said that it could not connect to the database.
So, I uninstalled and reinstalled WAMP again and now it says Permission Denied.

Any ideas?

Hi

I had similar problems and it was all down to ensuring that all the log ons and passwords were correct in the congif files.

MySQL said:
#1130 - Host 'localhost' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.
