Apache not serving web pages issue

Apparently Skype registers port 80 by default as well. This is more of a skype issue than a wampserver, but fyi in case anyone else noticed it.

It would be nice if there was a way when starting apache to do a quick test of the port automatically, and pop up a notification window if the test service detected that apache was not the service listening after you had attempted to start it, and then mention that some other programs, especially chat and VoIP programs, like to use port 80 as well

Thanks,
crab

PS - is there any chance this project will become an open source one soon? I mean like google code with an issue tracker and all so others could possibly work on it some? I use it frequently, and recommend it all the time, so I wouldnt mind putting in fixes to minor changes when I find them
