Cannot map POST?

How do I fix this?
I have no clue how it even got here.

Apache_error LOG:
[Tue Jan 13 12:33:49 2009] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] (20024)The given path misformatted or contained invalid characters: Cannot map POST /sitename/%3C?=$image_handling_file?%3E HTTP/1.1 to file, referer: [localhost]

as error pointed out, you had invalid characters in your path, ie. %3, so make sure there is no blank space in your path and have proper character settings in your text editor ;-)

For some reason "short open tag" wasn't enabled.
