saving data sent through GPRS in mysql

Hi everyone..

I want to send data to the webserver through GPRS and I want this data to be saved in mysql database. What do I need to have on the server side to achive this?

nothing special.. just use php to store the info as a varible then send it to mysql

GPRS???
use it on the phone or on computer? if on computer then it depends on what you use to send it

I want to send data from a mobile that has gprs to a computer thats running wamp server...wat I know is that I need to do socket programmimg..is that it?

no. You dont do anything. Just make a form that works on the phone. And you will get the information
