do I need to uninstall current MySQL after installing WampServer?

I have MySQL installed on my Window7. Now I install WampServer on top. Do I need to uninstall previously installed MySQL? If not, does WampServer connect to the old one or it has its own MySQL?
It seems that WamServer is copying database from pre-installed MySQL. Which one has overriding create function? Please provide answers. Thanks.

I have installed MySQL 5.6 on Window7 32 bits. I just installed Wampserver 2.4 32bits. I ran tests using Android PhPApp. Wampserver worked fine. But I am not sure if Wampserver is using my old MySQL files or the newly created files using phpmyadmin.

Wamp Server will probably be using the Original MySQL install assuming you left the port for that version of wamp as 3306.

If you want to run 2 MySQL servers you will have to chnage one of them to Listen on another port ( port 3307 for example) so you can differentiate between the 2.
