the wamp status remains orange after adding mod_wsgi module.

system:
windows 8 x64 bit
Wampserver (64 bits & PHP 5.4) 2.4
extracted & copied mod_wsgi.so in apache modules directory from [www.lfd.uci.edu] ( mod_wsgi‑3.4.ap24.win‑amd64‑py2.7.zip )
appended LoadModule wsgi_module modules/mod_wsgi.so in httpd.conf
restarted wamp, task status is displayed as orange.

So what are the error messages from Apache? Look at the Apache error log and also the Windows Event Viewer

I had a check on both logs none of are helpful, here's an overview:

*Windows Event Viewer:

httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 175 of C:/wamp/bin/apache/Apache2.4.4/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load modules/mod_wsgi.so into server: The specified module could not be found.

ln 175:

LoadModule wsgi_module modules/mod_wsgi.so


*apache_error: the usual start & stop service after a restart.

Can I ask, which binary did you download and from where? for the mod_wsgi.so
