WampServer

Hello,

I know there are lots of posts on the subject and I did try to fix it before posting (I tried to disable IIS for example). But I am a complete newbie and so far? i have not managed to run WAMP on Windows 8. It installs ok but the icon remains orange and PHPMyAdmin remains blank in browser.

Would anyone please take pity on me and give me some pointers (in French or in English)?
