How can I change the port?

How can I change the port? I have the WampServer 2.0c and I would like to run multiple copy's of it on DIFFERENT computers but on the same network. Correct me if I'm wrong but all I would need to do is change the Apache port number. I have no idea how to do this so please help me and let me know if there is anything else that needs to be done for this to work.

do u intend connecting them to the internet? or always just over a local network?

There over the internet. I have one WAMP server already online and on port 80. I would like to use the second WAMP server on the internet as well and on port 8080 or 8000.

yes then just go into c:/wamp/bin/apache/apache2.x/conf/httpd.conf and change listen 80 to listen 8080


and set up router to forward 8080 to the ip of that machine like u wud have done with 80 for the first machine,,


is there a real need to have the sites on two different servers? two version of wamp? one version can handle mutiple ports and multipe ips using vhosts.

if u wanna know more just ask

you should setup virtual hosts instead multiple web server; check my guide here

how i set up the router port??how to do forward port?? i am having a problem on wamp server...and i know nothing about this...could plz explain more to me???thx...
