Cannot Receive External Traffic?

I installed WAMP and ported the site over to WAMP from a dying Linux box. I simply changed the firewall rule to the new IP of the Windows Vista workstation and cannot hit the site externally. Is there anything that needs to be done with WAMP before external users can access the site?

I can access internally without any issues.

left click wamp icon and press put online

Steve, thanks for the reply. I read through the guide and it's good but I have 20 years networking experience and have a Cisco ASA firewall online. Trust me, I have been through the steps in your guide.

lol ok , sorry most users are newbies.

wamp should work work fine straight away.. i presume you looked at the logs in c:/wamp/logs

and forwarded your ports etc.. have you tried it from another network as some routers wih NAT stop the external IP from being reached.

do you recieve server not found or sever timed out error?

Yes, thanks. It was actually a nat translation statement in my firewall. I fixed it and it's working great now!
