Cannot find localhost in Vista

Hello,

Have just install Wamp 2 on my pc. but cannot seem to find the localhost. Can anyone help me.

Stated there in firefox is "Address not found
Firefox can't find the server at www.localhost.com

either firewall or ff extension cause it

i stop the firewall and try again.same problem still occurs. as for the ff ext, how do u change or close this. kind of new to this. please advise and thank you in advance

Are you actually going to www.localhost.com, or are you just typing "localhost" into the address bar?

this is an easy fix


goto c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc

open "hosts" in notepad and mkae sure u only have

127.0.0.1 localhost



if u have
::localhost

delete it!
