Wamp Server 2.o install 127.0.0.1 doesn't work

Recently install wampserver 2 on new pc.
I've started services, can open localhost, get the phpadmin page, create databases.
But it does not reconize 127.0.0.1, it wants to open a new connection window to go to internet, even though I am on the internet thru wireless connection.
I can ping this address and get a response.
I need to be able to start localhost by putting in the address in order to run additional installation software.
Any help would be great.

weird...
u sure it works for localhost and not 127.0.0.1?
or is it the other wat around?
