WampServer

Hi all,

I installed the latest WAMP2 server with out any problem. Then I stoped IIS7 in Windows vista business edition with SP1. And port 80 is free.

When i entered "localhost" it became empty page. Then i decided to start Wampapache service from service lists.

However, i found the following error:

"Windows can not start the Wampapache on local computer. If it is non-windows product contact third party...etc.



Please, help!

you should install wamp after disable iis, not before

I did as you said and Apache server is now working.

I only disabled IIS , uninstalled and re-installed wamp. There were some Vista security warnings during reinstallation which i did not noticed during first installation.
I hope this solution can help others also.
