Can't connect to db

I don't know how it happend, but i can't seem to connect to the db anymore.

I try to install some programs but they all fail on installation.

For my feeling i changed something in the config ubut i don't know what i have changed.

Can people tell some mainreasons why a connection cant't work any more?

Or a script to test the connection.,

Can you run phpmyadmin?

Yes i can run phpmyadmin.

I can make new databases and give right. but could it be that applications can't make tables?
