Joomla Help Please

I was just told about this today and in the past had been using Ravenwood standalone.

This looks great but still trying to learn it.

Here is where I am at and need some pointers.

I am running Joomla 1.0.15

I have downloaded entire live site and have placed in the www/ folder. It shows in Your Projects but when I click on it I get the following error.

Warning: require_once(/home/sportbi3/public_html/ontariohaylistings/includes/version.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\wamp\www\ontariohaylistings\includes\joomla.php on line 71

I have double checked folder and the includes/version.php

Also, how do I connect the SQL to the folder?

Thanks,

James

Hi,

If you copied the site, it means that you did not go through the installation process and the paths are wrong.

First make a backup copy of the Joomla configuration file C:\wamp\www\ontariohaylistings\configuration.php.

Edit the following lines and replace the old path with the current path:

$mosConfig_absolute_path = 'C:/wamp/www/ontariohaylistings';

$mosConfig_cachepath = 'C:/wamp/www/ontariohaylistings/cache';

Seems to be working but can't link.

Check the following lines from the file configuration.php:

$mosConfig_db =
$mosConfig_user =
$mosConfig_password =

You need create this user in phpMyAdmin or MySQL Administrator, assign the password to it, add a host 'localhost' under it and give the user and host combination the access rights to the database.
