Hi. I am waiting long time with internet explorer. Pages are coming very late. Firstly opening title. On Firefox, i have no problem. This is same for all visitors. I did not find any solution. I have one more problem. Static image files not opening fastly. I am creating thumbnails of some photos with php-code (100kb) and opening instantly. Its fast. But static image file (maybe 1kb) opening late.

Note: (IIS not installed)... I am using windows xp, high speed internet conntection, i am getting nearly 200 visitors in same time... cpu max %3...

- Other problem is, when i press ctrl+f5 buttons, pages are opening very late for first time. But second time everything is ok.

Please help...

sounds like ie is set to check for new copies of then page then get them


this is slow as it needs to check compare then download..

set ie to always download a new copy of the file

only thing u can do is preload the images

for example wen they are on a page with links to another page with staic pics use preload to download images for links on that page..


this is a problem with ie rather then server...


make sure u put the " BEST VIEWED WITH FIREFOX LOGO ON YOUR PAGE"

In IE, go to Internet Options, in Generals tab clear all temp files, in Connections tab, click on LAN settings and uncheck "Automatically detect settings", then click OK to save your new settings and restart IE ;-)

Ok, image problem is same. Static images opening very late. Same in firefox and ie i am trying and activing-deactiving modules but i have no solution.

If you have problem in both browsers, then it would be your anti-virus/firewall or other similar soft

Yes, i am using kaspersky and kerio firewall.

But when i disable antivirus and firewall programs, problem is continues...
