WampServer

This has probably been asked various times, however - to be honest - your search function sucks and it seems not to find anything.

Whenever I start Wamp, the tray icon is filled with red color about 1/3 in the left, but it will never go all the way to the right and get green. Moreover, I can't seem to connect to localhost, no matter what I try.

I tried "Stop all services" and then "(Re)start all services", but that doesn't change a thing.

Am I doing something wrong?

The search function works all right, you just need to click the line that says click it and you will see the results.

Was your server working before or did you just install it?

It used to work alright, until I tried to start it yesterday again. The problem still is here.
In addition to the information I have given above, I'd like also to state that there's a lock symbol in front of the WAMP picture with the red / green-filled 'meter'. Does that mean anything?

something else must have been installed or some program updated itself to stop this from working.

what other prpgrams are runing?
