Hi!

I just found WampServer and would LOVE to use it to consolidate control over my web development environment.

However, I already have Apache/PHP/MySQL installed.

What would you recommend as a strategy for moving to WampServer under these circumstances? Especially in order to preserve existing MySQL databases.

Thanks!

The best and simple way is:
1. Backup your current db, websites
2. Install this wamp on different computer/laptop
3. Restore your db and website from backup and test to make sure everything work as expected
4. Uninstall all Apache, MySQL and PHP on main computer, rename/remove all related folders, run regedit to search and delete all Apache's, MySQL's, and PHP's registries
5. Restart computer
6. Install this wamp
7. Restore all db's and websites from other computer/laptop
