Allow Mysql remote connect with Myqls-front or Mysql Maestro?

Hi
I have wamp server installed on lan (server machine)

How can i connect Mysql Maestro with wamserver? Using direct connection mode iv got this error:

SQL error: Host '10.103.251.16' is not allowed to connect to this Mysql server


From web interface im allowed ( [ip_server] ) with my ip adress (10.103.251.16)

Problem resolved.


The permission on Mysql table are Root, localhost.

must be root, % & allow remote conn from any host.

Hi,

You may still want to limit the connection to a particular workstation by using its computer name as the host from which the user can connect, for security reasons. Just my 2c worth.

Yep, toivo is right; it's not safe when you're using wild card for your mysql :-(
