localhost cannot be displayed

I have installed wampserver on my vista machine. However, i cannot view localhost. I am new to this. Please help.

You should check if you have any firewall, Zone Alarm, Skype, IIS, Karspersky, Google Accelerator, so on

Thanks a lot. I have disconnected my computer from local network on which a hardware firewall exists and everything is working.
