I did this by putting a shortcut to the the EXE in the startup folder and it worked fine on my XP machine.

This is enough only for home user.

If you try to use WampServer for some server (for example intranet server of small firm) you need to start it automaticly without entering to windows as user - Example: computer is connected to networtk as server, without monitor, keybord ... managed remotely. For some reason is down (for example power cut) and started again. In this situation you need services started automaticaly on startup.

There was an "Automaticly launch on startup" checkbox in older versions (on instalation). In last release (2.0a) I can't find this. So I used older Wamp5 1.7.4 and it works fine.
