WampServer

Hey guys,
I've been searching and found lots of posts on getting wamp started but none have worked so far.

Im on XP Sp 2, Joybook 5000u

Changed Skypes port, turned the firewall off to install and test, Installed and reinstalled wamp and always
after entering [localhost]
I get page not found?

None of the pages can be found, tried a different apache server combo, same result.

What am I doing wrong.

it seems that one of your sofware is blocking your access to apache. i have seen from other posts that skype needs to be turned off for it to work.

Not really, when changing port for skype, it should be ok, but the problem is here "tried a different apache server combo, same result" which mean you've already tried too many different wamp packages that cause the conflict, so either you really have to clean up completely before reinstall this wamp, or better get a new hard drive then install only windows and this wamp. I'm pretty sure it will work
