MySQL not work

Hi all,
Hope anyone can help me to solve this.
I am using Windows Vista home premium. And I install WAMP 1.7.2
problem is MySQL not working.
I got following error in the error log file
070823 16:39:42 InnoDB: Starting log scan based on checkpoint at

InnoDB: Doing recovery: scanned up to log sequence number 0 43655

070823 16:39:43 [ERROR] c:\wamp\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe: Can't create/write to file 'c:\wamp\mysql\data\???????-PC.pid' (Errcode: 22)
Anyone can help me to solve this?

try opening your my.ini file (left click on the wamp tray icon -> config files -> my.ini
add this line:
tmpdir=C:/Windows/temp
