Can't get in PHPMyAdmin

Hi, I have the following problem:
I installed WAMP and it worked fine. Then I changed my root pass word via PHPMYAdmin. After that I got the following message when I tried to go to PHPMyAdmin: #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
I've tried to add also th password I (thought I) entered into config.inc.php but that did not help.
Then I unstalled WAMP, removed C:/wamp, restarted PC, installed WAMP again, but I still get the same message when I try to go into PHPMyAdmin.
Any ideas?

Hi, I think I know what went wrong...
Seems I got the message still since apparently the file from my history was shown! When I refreshed the PHPMyAdmin php file it worked fine again :-)
